Let's start with some major characteristics that might allow us to sort these images.  First split it into two groups, those that are orange in color and those that are not.

Orange colored butterflies
Queen	Hedgerow Hairstreak		Frigga Fritillary
Common Wood-Nymph		Mormon Metalmark

Non-Orange colored Butterflies
Two-Tailed Swallowtail	Silver-Spotted Skipper	Sara Orangetip

Since we have split the 8 butterflies into two groups with characteristics that they share in common, we can now deal with identifying fewer butterflies.  Let's start with the orange-colored butterflies.
