Butterflies
without spots

Hedgerow Hairstreak

Not all of the orange butterflies look alike.  If we look at the wings, some have spots while some don't.  So we can first separate the butterflies by those that have spots and those that don't.  By doing this we can separate the Hedgerow Hairstreak from all of the other butterflies.

That leaves four butterflies with various amounts and colors of spots.
