In a nutshell, NatureMapping is recording and reporting the plants and animals you see - in your backyard, schoolyard, on your way to work, or enjoying a walk. In short, anytime you can pinpoint your location and take good field notes; we want to hear from you about what you see!

NatureMapping with the Sawtooth Science Institute is a partner program with the:

• Natural Heritage Project of the Idaho Museum of Natural History;

• Dr. Charles Peterson's NatureMapping Idaho Amphibians & Reptiles Course at Idaho State University;

• the Digital Atlas of Idaho 2000; and

• the National Gap Analysis.
