The Wasden excavation, located in southeast Idaho, is a site unlike any other in the region. While used sporadically throughout the Holocene, its significant archaeological and natural deposits have much to teach us about prehistoric hunter-gatherer activities as well as climate change over the last 12,000 years.
We have dedicated a separate website to the Wasden site. It contains detailed information and around 2,000 photographs. Click the button below to view the site.
