Beginning Nature Photography: Community Class for Adults

Do you have a DSLR camera, and no idea how to use it?  Register for class and come the IMNH, Saturday October 4th, 2014, with your camera and learn a few skills to get you started.  Topics include introductions to ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, and composition.  After some classroom practice, participants will go to the Cusick Creek Trail head to practice the skills used in class.

What you will need:

  • Transportation to Cusick Creek from the IMNH (5 minute drive from the museum)
  • DSLR Camera
  • Freshly Charged Camera Battery
  • Memory Card
  • Camera Manual
  • Hiking Shoes, Water, and Jacket  (The hike is not very far, but the trail is rocky and uneven in places)
