Nampa Fish Hatchery
Nampa Fish Hatchery is a resident trout rearing facility located two miles south of Nampa. To reach this facility travel two miles south of Nampa on Powerline road to the hatchery entrance. The water supply includes eight artesian wells with a combined flow of 18 to 40 cubic feet per second (cfs) of 59ºF water. Nampa Hatchery was constructed in 1975 and purchased by the IDFG in 1982. This hatchery is the second largest in the state's resident hatchery system. It grows and plants fish for every region in the state. It provides put and take sized fish for redistribution from McCall, Hayspur, Clearwater and Sawtooth hatcheries.
