From Cordage
to Dinner
The People
found resources for food thinly spread in Southern Idaho.
In Northern Idaho, food resources were more plentiful, however plants
and animals did not willingly hop into the cookpot.
Edible plants were found at widely dispersed locations, and large animals
followed seasonal migrations. This made predicting where and when to
gather and hunt difficult. Using cordage made finding food easier.
