Museum Store
Store Hours:
Tuesday through Saturday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed on major holidays.
The Museum Store provides visitors the opportunity to purchase
unique gifts and merchandise that reflect the natural history of
our state. The Store carries items that relate to the gallery exhibits
as well as artwork produced by local artists. The store has a large
number of educational publications and videos for all age groups.
This includes many items pertaining to the natural history of Idaho,
Native American history, children's books, field guides to the local
area, and much more. Special orders can be placed for any items
that the Store does not currently have in stock.
One of the new attractions at the Museum Store is the recent addition
of Native American traditional arts and handcrafted items that include
beadwork, knives, and artwork. Currently the Store has several bronze
statues crafted by Rusty Houtz, a Shoshone-Bannock tribal elder.
The store is also southeast Idaho's official dealer for "Estwing"
geologic tools and "Rite in the Rain" all-weather writing
paper.
Parking passes may be obtained at the Store counter for gallery
visitors. Brochures and pamphlets for other attractions in the area
are available at the travel information case across from the Store
entrance.
