Osteology

The Modern Osteology collection is comprised of skeletal material from extant animals that exist in and around Idaho. The collection contains over 2500 catalogued specimens that are utilized by faculty and students of Idaho State University as well as by other researchers. This collection is central to the Museum's research, exhibits, and educational programs in archaeology, paleontology, mammalogy, ornithology, ichthyology, and herpetology.
